With just a convenient click, the new intuitive control switch can handle a wide range of functions, including smartphone connectivity, navigation and cruise control.
The 5-inch full-color TFT display is updated with four customisable themes and smartphone connectivity via the Y-connect app, allowing riders to receive calls, texts, and listen to music. Real-time traffic updates and full map navigation can be accessed through the free Garmin StreetCross app.
Assist and slipper clutch is adopted to reduce the weight of the clutch pull and provide low-stress shifting during deceleration. It provides a smoother ride, the gear shift is lighter and the quicker acceleration.
Amplifier grilles are specially designed with perforated openings above the fuel tank to accentuate the high frequency sounds of the engine, delivering an exhilarating sound of speed right to the rider’s ears.
The Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) offers three preset riding modes-SPORT, STREET, and RAIN-plus two customizable options for engine power and electronic intervention, all adjustable via the TFT screen or through the Y-CONNECT app.
