HONG LEONG YAMAHA MOTOR LAUNCHES THE ALL-NEW YAMAHA EZ115, TO BE SHOWCASED IN 2023 MALAYSIAN CUBPRIX

GENTING HIGHLANDS, SUNDAY, 15 JANUARY 2023 – Off to a roaring good start for the year, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor has launched an all-new, fuel-injected motorcycle make for its Malaysian customers. The EU4-compliant Yamaha EZ115 motorcycle boasts features that promise better performance and easier utility for any lifestyle.

One of Yamaha’s more versatile models, the Yamaha EZ115 comprises of features that cover all of a rider’s daily commuting needs and more. Equipped with a 114cc fuel injection engine, the new model is optimized to provide better acceleration, fuel efficiency and a lightweight frame with excellent balance for better riding comfort.

Moreover, the new model is outfitted with various features for customers’ riding convenience, such as a larger headlight for clearer night visibility and an ECO light indicator to allow users to manage their riding for better fuel saving. The under-seat storage has a considerable amount of space and it can be opened easily just by using the main key.

“To demonstrate the exemplary performance and capabilities of the Yamaha EZ115, we will be having a one-make-race with this model in the 2023 Malaysian CubPrix race. We hope to show everyone the potential of this new motorcycle, and what Yamaha’s new model can do,” said Dato’ Dr. Jim Khor, Group Managing Director, Hong Leong Industries Berhad.

The model launch was held in conjunction with the Yamaha Fashion Night appreciation dinner, which brought together representatives from three Yamaha brands: Yamaha Motorcycle, Yamaha Music and Yamaha Marine.

The All-New Yamaha EZ115 comes in three evergreen colors: RED, BLUE and CYAN. The model will be available at all authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide from 16th January 2023, at a recommended retail price (RRP) of RM5,598.00, excluding registration fees and insurance coverage. All owners will receive a safety disc lock as a gift with their purchase.
