HONG LEONG YAMAHA MOTOR LAUNCHES THE NEW 2022 TMAX TECH MAX

SELANGOR, THURSDAY, 13 OCTOBER 2022 – Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (“HLYM”) welcomes the new luxurious looking Yamaha TMAX TECH MAX into its premium model lineup.

Supported by its distinctive styling and luxurious comfort, the Yamaha TMAX TECH MAX provides the rider with a unique city ride experience. It is equipped with enhanced technologies to complement its tech advanced features.

“The response for the new Yamaha TMAX TECH MAX is so overwhelming, that the first batch of 40 production units had been fully booked within 2 weeks since the “open for booking” announcement, while the second batch of 40 production units scheduled for November are fully booked as well,” said Dato’ Dr. Jim Khor Mun Wei, Group Managing Director of Hong Leong Industries Bhd.

The Ultimate Automatic is now equipped with a high performance 562cc engine accompanied by a lightweight chassis for smoother navigation. An enhancement to its high-performance engine, the Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (“Y-CCT”) now comes with an Accelerator Position Sensor Grip (“APSG”) for a smoother throttle, as well as new suspension settings for the lightweight SpinForged Wheels (“SFW”), which result in better cornering stability.

Optimised layout and systems designed for convenience such as the electrically operated smart fuel cap, adjustable seat back and new switch panel allow the rider to fully enjoy the ride. A best-in-class 7-inch full-color TFT display is also available with three display mode designs to choose from, along with the latest smartphone connectivity feature “MyRide-Link” that introduces riding entertainment.

Designed to have a more compact body and pronounced new aerodynamic front wings, this model now embodies a premium sporty look. In addition, new boomerang motif taillights, along with bold-looking combination mono-focus headlamps further accentuate the luxurious look of the new Yamaha TMAX TECH MAX.

The new Yamaha TMAX TECH MAX features 2 color options: Dark Petrol and Power Grey, which will be available at all authorised Yamaha Big Bike Dealers nationwide from mid-October 2022 onwards, at a recommended retail price (RRP) of RM74, 998, excluding registration fees and insurance coverage. The first 100 owners of the new model will also receive a premium TMAX corporate gift set as a token of appreciation, while all owners will receive a safety disc lock as a gift with their purchase.
