Sg Buloh, Wednesday 20 October 2021 – Hong Leong Yamaha Motor is pleased to introduce the new DOXOU edition of its Yamaha Y16ZR, which will have a limited quantity of only 5,000 units produced for retail.
Hong Leong Industries Berhad Group Managing Director Dato Jim Khor said the name DOXOU is derived from the Japanese word DOKUSOU which means ‘being creative and being ahead of others’ and is confident the new limited-edition model will thrill riding enthusiasts with its superior engine quality and ignition mapping.
“We hope this new DOXOU edition of the Yamaha Y16ZR will delight our riders with its superior riding quality and be party to an elite club of limited owners who will receive an exclusive gift set that comes along with the new model,” he said during the introduction of the model.
With focus on a premium and sporty lifestyle, the DOXOU edition features state-of-the-art, fashionable red and blue livery to further accentuate the model’s sporty look, as well as individually coloured sport rims on its front and rear wheels. The duality of colours further underline the sporty and stylish culture of the brand.
Each model comes with an exclusive DOXOU gift set which contains an appreciation certificate, an exclusively designed sporty visor with a specially-made coloured ring screw as well as the Limited Edition DOXOU emblem for every new unit purchased. In addition to this, every new owner of the Y16ZR DOXOU edition will receive a safety disc lock with their purchase.
Together with the launch of the bike, a series of sports-themed DOXOU apparel will also be available on the Genblu Online Shop for customers keen on adding trendy apparel to their wardrobe.
The new DOXOU Edition of Yamaha Y16ZR will be available at all authorised Yamaha dealers nationwide from 21 October 2021 onwards and is priced at a recommended retail price (RRP) of RM11, 688 excluding insurance and registration fees.
