YAMAHA MT-09 TRACER MAKES ITS DEBUT IN MALAYSIA

SG BULOH, 01 JULY 2016 – Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn. Bhd. (“HLYM”) today announced the launch of its latest big bike model, Yamaha MT-09 TRACER – a 4 stroke, 847 cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder engine with fuel injection motorcycle.

The introduction of the MT-09 TRACER marks the fifth major model in HLYM’s big bike product line-up, and stands out as its new flagship model. It will complement the current model range of XJ6, MT-07, MT-09 and XV950.

The MT-09 TRACER is a light touring bike that packs lots of power and represents an ultimate weekend tourer. At only 190 kg (dry weight) and equipped with a 847 cc 3-cylinder high torque engine, the TRACER is designed to thrill to the limits. TCS (Traction Control System) and ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) are standard features on the TRACER.

The new Yamaha MT-09 TRACER (CBU) is priced at RM 59,900 (including 6% GST but excluding road tax, insurance and number plate) and will be available at selected authorised Yamaha dealerships nationwide starting from mid-July. It comes only in RACE BLU colour. Customers now have a wider Yamaha big bike model choice to match their discerning lifestyles and riding preferences.
